Childhood Friendship

Growing up, my best friend Jake and I were inseparable. We lived in a quiet suburban neighborhood with tree💥lined streets and a park where we spent countless hours exploring and creating our own adventures.

One summer day, as we sat on the swings, Jake told me the news that would change our friendship forever. "Sam, my dad got a job in another state. We're moving next month," he said, his voice trembling.
